I got accepted into the beta yesterday night and I must tell you all about what I did. First it was kind of a pain in the ass the get things going because its the same account setup as Lineage II.

I downloaded the client and got to the character creation page. OH.... MY.... God.....

There is just SO much stuff to customize. Theres hoods, helms, midevil helms, hats, horns, etc for the head. Then you can pick tight, baggy, or a suit for top. You can customize everything from your armbands to your face paint to your hairstyle to your chest emblem. Colors from darkest black to the brightest pink.

Secondly theres the classes. You choose where you got your powers from. Science (accident, experiment.... like Spiderman), Mutation (like X-Men), Technology (gadgets, robotics.... like ummm...Green Goblin I guess), Natural (no powers, you've trained really hard..... like Batman i would guess), and Born ( born with your powers like Superman).

After about an HOUR of messing around, this was my character. He is Natural and uses a Katana. His name is Dimmu Borgir.


After going through the tutorial I decided to be uber clever and a character named "An Agent". He gets is powers from Technology and he is one of the tanker classes, forgot which one. Kinda cool because he is able to knockback enemies.


When I get home I might make a dude in spandex and call him Rick James.

Beta signups are over, launch day is April 28th I think. I didn't play much, I just did a subway dungeon (like AO missions) but I might preorder if the actual game is fun.

Sorry about the quality, the conversion added lots of jaggies, game looks alot better. Had to get the pictures a certain size in order for them to be hosted.

It just looks British because of the city he is in and the suit he is wearing. Most of the other super heroes wear gay costumes like they are supposed to. Sweet screenshots, by the way! I actually think it looks pretty cool with you running around in a suit like that. Very agent like. The one SS with the backflip is da bizzom tizzay.

lmao! Cybots is Austrailian, but Aussies are very British. Maybe you aren't "to inteeligent." That picture still looks like a sweet Matrix-esque backflip. Kung Fu, nigga!

So are any of y'all gonna buy this thing or not? Normally I would not even ask, especially since I tried it too late to log in to the beta, but I was floored by the player creation. Seriously, the most amazing player characterization of any game I have ever seen. If there were 3 or 4 of you who were going to play, I would atleast buy it and play the free month just to make some characters and run them around. Otherwise I will just play Cybots and wait for WoW and the BFV patch.

I love everything about the game except the "end game".

"End game" in a MMORPG being.... what is there to do once you hit your max level.

Now I know NOTHING about this game other than the newbie levels so I'm kinda torn.

I would buy it if someone else other than me is gonna play. I know Crawdad preordered it because he had the PreOrder bling coming from his character. (Depending on where you preorder from, you get some type of bling emitting from your character as they run.)

EDIT: Changed my mind, think im gonna pass on this game and exercise my Force Sensitive Credit Card for the Starsider server in SWG.
