Neutral bases do not follow this rule.

So a valid strat may be to load up a gal with AdvHackers and some support and an ANT.

Hit a backwater base that will be undefended because everyone is concentrating on the frontlines.

Hack all the Terminals. And whore the NTUs until the base is neutral.

Hack it. ANT it. And call in the Cavalry.

That's absolutely valid and by our game design.
Defenders can easily compensate for that strategy...if they're paying attention. If they're not...then rock on.

True, another aspect that I thought of is that since base caps will be mostly done my links and by neutral bases. It still would be possible to go behind emy lines and ambush. Since most people will be concentrating on the front. People still can go behind and blow up the gens and all their terminals or better yet, hack all the terminals and use that as a temperary base to go fight anywhere like mercs or plan attacks on other bases that are going to be falling soon to be able to hack it as soon the link is broken. Tiss funny about beps and unique emy destroyed. but the defence things seems interesting. well, hopefuly its us soon.

Actually, as you point out, I think the changes will make an organized squad attacking a rear base THAT mush MORE fun and MORE lethal!
