Hopefully this will help with your BC problems. First, if you are running XP, you need to go to Settings - Properties and on the Soundcard tab check the boxes for Alternative Playback and Recording. Then you will need to rerun the full duplex test.
Next, try opening the Ports listed on this page on your router. If that doesn't help your connection then I am not sure what you need to do. Try pinging to fjb.hopto.org or 66.171.46.28 to see if it completes. Go to "Run" and type "tracert 66.171.46.28" or "tracert fjb.hopto.org". Let me know if any of this helps (or does nothing for you).
