Seriously, I wish I had gotten into OFP back when it came out. It would have saved me a ton of money on WWIIOL, Aces High and BF1942. It's pretty kickass, too bad I did not get into it during it's prime. Holla back playa!

Back in the day it would of been the shit. But now it is shit.
I've never even heard of the game until you guys brought it up. Did this come out around EverQuest? Because around the time EQ was released I zoned out and ignored just about everything but my wizard, heh. |

I closed the web browser and was about o load counter-strike when I said to myself, "he didnt say BF1942, did he?"
Battlefield 1942 has to be the best game ive played thats involved player and vehicles or WW2. Wish I had a cdkey so I can play it online, heh. |

Battlefield is more fun in the "run-n-gun" style, BUT I personally enjoy the long trips to the next town in a chopper or a fully manned tank. Or setting up an ambush and waiting in the trees. BF is great if you wanna be a solo hero, but I prefer to be part of the group and play my role. I try to play that way in BF but before I know it I am off playing cowboy taking flags by myself. It's just not as much fun as when 3 of you are in a tank picking targets and lighting them up.

So basically you like flying or driving around? Why not try Microsoft Flight Sim2k4
The older one was pretty fun. Love taking the 747 as high as it will go and just shutting the engines off, or trying to land a small plane on a bridge, or landing a helicopter on a skyscraper. |

No, I like flying or driving around with OTHER PEOPLE who each have a critical role. MSFS is pretty boring all alone like that.
