Process in building tier armour
You can find the original article here by Letah.

1. Get Visions of <xxxxxxxx>
Ask your IPS what Visions and what type of Novictum you need and head to a (un)redeemed temple, walk upstairs and choose the spirit room. Walk N and zone in the "mud" there. Farm Vision items from the mobs there. You need 3 visions per armourpiece.

2. Get Embryo's
Inside this dungeon the sidekicks of the bossroom drop Embryo's you need. If you are in a higher lvl Dungeon (Scheol+) normal mobs can drop them too. You need 1 Embryo per armour piece.

3. Get Canisters of Liquid Notum
These drop by the general wildlife of Shadowlands. Can only have one at a time so you will need these as last prolly, make 1 piece and get another etc.

4. Get Canister of your type of Novictum
Your IPS tells you what type your profession needs. You farm these from spirit mobs, but not the ones in the spirit room, go outside for em. You need one per armourpiece.

5. Make your Glyph
Head back to the IPS person and tell him/her you got enough for your glyph and hand over 3 visions and the embryo and you'll get a glyph.

6. Activate/Assemble your glyph
Click your Canister of Liquid Notum on your Glyph to activate it. Tier 1 needs 550 QFT for that. Now click your canister of novictum-type on it to make it the final version. Last step needs 600 psychology for tier1.

7. Make your Tier 1/2/3 armourpiece
Click the result of step 6 on your Jobe armourpiece. Grats

Tier 1 only has: Glove/Sleevex2/Pants/Boots/Body
Tier 2 has: Glove/Sleevex2/Pants/Boots/Body/Padx2/Helmet
Tier 3 has: Glove/Sleevex2/Pants/Boots/Body/Padx2/Helmet/Back
*advs are lucky and get a tier2 back too

To make Tier 2 pads/helmet you can use Jobe one. Same with Tier3 back item.

Have fun making these, it is worthwhile. You can upgrade your armour to a certain degree:

Tier1: from 100 to 160
Tier2: from 160 to 220
Tier3: from 220 to 300

Currently a lvl 200 could eqp a 220 set with some effort. QL160 is about the same as normal QL200 armour give or take a few. QL160 body adds 1000 AC usually.
...
Scheol has the best droprate of tier1 armours, you can go higher/lower. Higher only for tier2/3.
...
A good place to get Novictum!!!!
Take portal to Port Seven in Elysium. Northwest of the port, is a temple with lots of Malah-things, but NORTH of that is a temple with tons of "Spirit hunters" and different kinds of "Soul" mobs(often all white)

These guys drop all the different kinds of Novictum, and often several different pieces from the same mob.
...
The visions/embryo's are in the (un)redeemed temples yes. For the redeemed ones go upstairs then choose the sideroom with the many many spirits. Make you way N and "zone" into the mud. Then you are in a corridor system with archaic mobs that drop those.
All I need now, is a few more sands, and some embryos. And the notum, of course. Hopefully, I will have my suit and have it on by Sunday night. Thanks a ton.

Oh, and do you have any more suggestions for spirits? The place NW of Port 7 is the only place that I remember seing them, but apperently, a lot of other people know too.

scheol, near ergo. Outside + inside the maso.
...

All info above is a copy/paste summary of some of the info listed in the actual post...its 5 pages long so i tried to save ya some reading heh

Perk guide

Interesting tidbit you will love Kyle:

To access the perks menu you can either just press the Perks menu button in the new GUI, or simply press shift-p to bring the menu up directly

I think I'll be going back to the old format tonight andsee if it works there. I'm unsure if the new perk attack icons will show up in the old actions menu. I'll have to check later.

...the BEST way to do this is pull up the "pet status" window and click the little "wait" and "attack" buttons next to the appropriate pet's status.

Any engineer who doesn't use the "pet status" window is at a giant disadvantage. It shows pet health, nanos running and time remaining on each, can be used to target the pet no matter where it is, and has buttons to directly tell each pet to attack, wait, or follow. One of the best things engineers got with 15.x...

-Vepr

To find the screen to open the Pet window hit <CTRL>+<SHIFT>+<F7>.

Psyonis
Further info on this and the new engineer dogs can be found in this thread:

Hmm reading an interesting tidbit in another thread about the garden vendors in shadowlands.
...
There is one guy way down at the end of these that says something like "You do not have the key..." when you right-click him. If you target him and hit e repeatedly, he will eventually (a couple times is all it ususally takes) open for business. He sells a few special SL nanos.
...

I may have to try this out as well.

Some ways to make cash

Later in the same thread Phoxtrot posted this:

Also have a look at this thread:

How to make money at low levels

I would add :
- Don't choose 'hidden' for missions you want to blitz...
- Don't spend IPs on pharma tech unless it's green and you're serious about it.

Good items for which low QL versions are often worth more than higher QL ones or which only exist at only one QL :

Concrete Cushion (QL10 and QL51 are best)

OT-Windchaser M06 Quartz

Galahad Inc. T70 Beyer

Second-Hand Old English Trading Co.

OT-Windchaser M06 Mother of Pearl

Pillow with Important Stripes (or the QL1)

Worn Soft Pepper Pistol (or the receptacle or QL1)

Robot Instruction Disc (Improve Crushing Weapons)

Robot Instruction Disc (Improve Slashing Weapons)

Robot Instruction Disc (Improve Thrusting Weapons)

Instruction Disc (Summon Grid Armor Mk I) UBER VALUE!

Programmed Photon Particle Emitter (Shape Hard Armor) UBER VALUE !

Programmed Photon Particle Emitter (Shape Soft Armor) UBER VALUE!

The items above have the huge advantage that they can interest even high-level players. Same thing applies for levelling items of course.

Other good Items :

Ring of the Nucleus Basalis

Basic Biomech Armor Helmet

Morphing Memory

Basic Biomech Armor Cloak

Also, any armor that can be considered by some people as the best armor available to them is worth some money (obtru steel, nano armor, dillon,...).

Look up here to make an idea for yourself :

Cloaks
Armors

Or here (I think this site more usefull from a reseller point of vue):

Armors
Cloaks

The advantage with "top-notch" armors is that you can actually sell them to twinks and twinks have money. You can't really hope to sell them to high level players tough (unless they got some twinks of course).

Of course, if clicksaver and its "buying agent" function works for you, you might as well drop a line in the trade channel that say "Who wants me to blitz something for them ? Up to QL xyz !".

Edit :

As was to be expected, most of the items above which are blitzable are now flooding the market. So some prices are plumetting... Sparrow grafts and pillows for everyone

My personal favorite way of farming cash is sneaking ql 200 missions for ql 200 ncu or sneaking missions for Ql 160 Belt Component Platform 5000 or Ql161 Belt Component Platform 6K-X. Unfortunately none of my characters on rk1 are able to roll these missions yet let alone sneak them. However once I am able to sneak missions for these items you can generally get about 1 mil for each...if not more. Remember when in doubt of the price of an item ask for more than you think it is worth. If it sells quickly increase the price the next time you sell it. If it doesn't sell wait a long while then try reducing the price till it sells at the speed you want it to sell for. Don't sell ql 160-161 ncu belts for any less than 1 mil...you are getting robbed blind otherwise. You can easily sell ql 160 ncu belts for a mil or more because its the last belt you'll ever need to wear with the lowest requirement. If they don't sell quick just wait a few days....only takes 5 6 slot belts to buy a yalm heh.

If anyone is looking for a certain nano or item, post it somewhere, here or in another forum, with a link if you can.

I seem to stumble on stuff all the time, and all I do is sell it if I don't think I can use it...

hey what the fuck do I know... I'm a newbie...

Currently Items I found to credit this statement are.
Order form OTSC 490 A which gave Masquerade his Bureacrat Briefcase
2 Bravery Mission Tokens
Bracer of Living Growth? - (makes you get bigger by 104% I think)
Some exo-suit armor... i forget what its called....

Well time to go back to school... later

Ergo in greater omni forest

Doesn't give exact coords to him but he shouldn't be too hard to find....

found him at 1231.3 2758.9 go to steps of madness and then walk east and zone into greater omni forest and it'll be in a little valley like area between 3 hills.
