Anyone else get in the beta? I haven't been able to log past the patch server yet. They are really bogged down according to the board. ...would be cool if this game doesn't suck.

lol, my Radeon 7500M is not supported by the game. I know that info was in my beta signup so they just wasted my time. From what I hear, the game is still in Alpha stage anyway. Well, back to Generals. Anyone ever get that game? I know Crawdad did but I haven't seen him around. I have the expansion as well.

I don't think they have sent the links to the DL yet, I know a lot of us got in.
Neo, I would give it a try and see if your shizzle works. I still haven't bought Generals yet. I need to wait a month now with all of my latest "computer costs." BTW, the new headers a blingin'

oh, I tried the game. Got the d/l, patched then got the blue screen of death at character creation. The board moderator for WISH told me the Radeon 7500 is not supported in the game.

hmm, I just followed the links and the directions (an important step) and I got in. The one step I neglected until I re-read the directions was to log into the account setup web site before starting the game. I was sent 2 download URLs to use. The first one worked fine and I was able to d/l the game in less than 20 min. The 490Mb file expands up to over a Gig. Then you get to patch.
