Call of Duty was a little different but it lacked the fun factor of Battlefield. Halo is a stripped down version of Tribes2 and not near as fun. Allegiance is forever dead. The mod community has done AMAZING work to get it to work and actually improve the game. The playing community blows so bad that it totally undermines anything the modders could do. Playing it just erases great memories. Sadly there is nothing MMO that is really promising right now. Battlefield Vietnam looks good. Tribes Vengence looks good. None of them are out yet.

As it turns out, there is only an expansion out for C&C Generals and I can't find my freakin CD. Oh well, Battlefield will hafta do for now. That and using my son's Xbox. Happy Festivus all!

werd Sergeant Major Posts: 129	Posted on Sat Dec 20, 2003 12:20 pm Halo is very fun. In fact I'm in a clan ranked #2 and soon to be #1 on the teamwarfare ladder. Stripped down tribes? Its a totally different game. Call of duty seems to be a winner and I'm hopefully getting it for xmas. Other than that I eagerly await WoW.

Gearshift Intelligence Officer Posts: 346	Posted on Thu Dec 25, 2003 9:48 pm Played Call of Duty Single Player, very good... heard horrible things about the Multi... something like its just medal of honor... halo is fun, but i wouldnt buy it, even for multi never played BF1942.. dont think i would... played the demo.. didnt thrill me or even get me interested... been playing AO... so far its good... having some fun lv 133 keeper (paladin) and lv 55 MP


Ciewna Sergeant Major Posts: 18	Posted on Sat Dec 27, 2003 1:35 am i personally enjoy CoD, imo it's not like MoH. its more of a DoD with Quake gameplay. Then FFXI is pretty fun too. Only bad thing i've found about it are the japs on the same servers as the americans, so you find people you cant understand, you just see the jap language characters.
