Why do you need to upgrade your PC? We aren't playing any games newer than those we were playing when you left. Why don't you save up for....your MF'ing Cable bill. Geez.

XP should be fully compatible with your hardware. It's not like you have to get a new computer to load a new OS. "I just got WindowsXP, now I'm a have ta get dat new soundcard."

I just don't understand WHY? As I said, were not playing anything that we weren't playing when you left, so your system is not out of date. Just because you have money does not mean you have to spend it.

Here's an idea: Open a savings account and put said money into it. Next time you can't afford to pay your cable bill, go and withdraw your money. Kids Hungry? Bank. Valentine's Day? Bank. New Headers? Bank.

If the bank idea is too complicated, take your check to the Piggly-Wiggly, get all coins and shove them into a porcelain pig's ass. But don't upgrade your perfectly fine system just cuz you have the money. We all know later on, you'll need it for something else.

Feel free to refute my statement once your cable has been reconnected for two full years.

Pod,

I have had ME since it came out, I've upgraded my system hardware at least 2 times since I got it. ME works fine!! If you're having some kind of trouble just be sure to download the lastest drivers any devices you might be having trouble with, and be sure to go to Microsoft's web page to check for available updates.
ME used to be a pain in the ass when it first came out due to compatability issues, but all of that has since been fixed a long time ago.

I haven't had a ME related problem with the exception of the need to patch Max Payne 2 in over year and a half.

While the upgrade might be nice, it is far from necessary!

Coz

PS Just a thought..........

Maybe its not your OS....maybe your kids just aren't spinning the harddrive fast enough!!!!

its easy depending on your character....
also depends on how much time you can devote to playing
