Jumpgate - General - Fat Jaws Badness

Grax Brigadier General Posts: 161	Posted on Thu Apr 8, 2004 10:48 am Been playing jumpgate off and on last couple weeks and gameplay has been improved greatly. Lag is near non existant for me...I rarely ever have retry% problems like I used to. Missles are more limited in use. Fighters for instance can't carry them...heavy fighters can carry They recently improved most of the ammo weapons. Massively increasing the ammo given for most of the guns. Weapon speeds of cobra, hammer, senator, landlords and various other ammo based weapons were increased greatly to improve their viability in PvP. I've been busy leveling my octavian alt Graxulus...he's level 29 atm...can't wait to fly around in the oct hf the dragon. I've been slaughtering flux quite a bit(manta, eel, phocacea, and even a few kraken). C9 kraken fire barrak like weaponry. I've also been undergoing extensive training in the sim with my phoenix and I am thinking of getting more into PvP. I've actually been getting quite good at fighting in the sim. On memorial day weekend will be a weekend of war (WoW) event. Participants in this event will be broken up into 3 squads(temporary squads that will be removed once WoW is over) and for the entire weekend all three squads will be battling it out against each other. The team with the most points(kills-deaths) at the end of the weekend wins. PvP without political reprecussions later. I thought I'd give you guys an update on some of the recent changes in jumpgate. Its fun to play again...I've really missed space sims. And with all the shit thats been goin on with me lately it feels good to kick some ass again. I'll still be playing Battlefield vietnam every once and a while when everyone is on(mostly on the weekends) but I feel that I really need to get my space sim fix right now.

She as been using them for extra storage. But since we broke up I'm canceling the accounts soon. As far as playing jumpgate I'm trying to have some fun with something I'm good at. I'm not good at fps...I suck. And they're boring playing by myself. I'm burnt out on swg, and AO...especially since due to the hours I play I'm generally soloing most of the time. I reaaaally need something to keep my mind off things for a while and for now jumpgate is fun. I hope you can understand that. I haven't been on ventrilo lately mainly because I've been shutting myself off from everybody...trying to cope and get over this. I don't know what else to do or to say for that matter. I'm trying not to shut down, which generally is my first reaction when I feel this way. So I'm going to try to get on ventrilo more. If my playing jumpgate offends any of you then I'm sorry. But I feel a rather large void in my life right now and the memories I had in jumpgate brought me back to it. I joined FJB while playing jumpgate several years ago after all and the memories of that time are helping me feel a little better.

My comment was aimed at the thread as a whole, not your post. Do whatever you need/want to do man. Hell, I've been half-tempted to D/L it and school your asses in the sim again, myself. But I'm not gonna play some stupidass game where the babies run the community and any fag can buy himself into a fighter without effort. That IS gayness.

I do remember now its FuriousOne. I had already went through the low level ships of oct once before and didn't feel like doing it again. FuriousOne was level 21 the last time I played him. Graxxus used to be level 30+ in solrain until I switched him to Quantar where he is now almost level 39. How many alts have you played to 30+ from every faction Kyle? So please if you don't think I "earned" my right to play as an Oct fighter feel free to join up again so I can kick your ass in the sim
