In order to kick 'Doom: The Movie's ass, Microsoft has confirmed work on a Halo movie starring none other than the big Master Chief, himself. M$ does appear to have one-upped all of these other game movies, buy hiring their own writer and selling a script, rather than just a license. That seems like a smart move to me. I guess we will see in 2007.
