Words can not describe what I just saw. Goosebumps, fucking goosebumps throughout the entire movie. All leading up to the ending where I loose all bowel control.
Visuals - 10/10 - The greatest fucking visual treat ever. Anime style action scenes in glorious 3D that give Pixar a run for their money. Definatly get a high quality version of this movie! (Will be released in America sometime in November). Audio - 9/10 - Gave my subwoofer a workout. Plenty of badass explosions and sword clanging. Music - 9/10 - Rock remixes of the Jenova theme and an amazing orchestral plus extended version of the One Winged Angel theme. Awesome FF7 song remakes plus some new stuff all by the God himself, Nobuo Uematsu. Story - 9.5/10 or 7/10 - 9.5 if you played through FF7 and are familiar with the story and characters. 7 if you never played FF7 (what the hell is wrong with you?). Lets face it, the ending to FF7 sucked. This is the shit that answers all questions concerning what happened to all the characters. Mainly Cloud, Tifa, Aeris, Jenova, and the surprise character in the wheelchair. Final score.... I dunno! Maybe a 9.9? Is it wrong to have a straight to DVD movie as your favorite movie of all time? This is what Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within SHOULD of been. I hope and pray there is some sort of theatrical release at least for one day to go with the American release. Cloud fighting Kadaj
